I have decided to try the Special K Cereal Diet. I hope it works. I know that It is a "fad" diet, but If I can get through this diet. Then by the time it is over I will hopefully got over my cravings, and learned when I am hungry and when I am not hungry.
The way the diet works:
I will eat Special K cereal twice a day for 2 weeks. Usually breakfast and lunch.
1 cup cereal and 1 cup fat-free milk
You can eat snacks in between meals but only fruit, vegetables, or high fiber foods. Dinner should be a well balanced meal.
I'm starting tomorrow, I hope I can do it!

Yes I cheated miserably Monday at the cookout. We had alot more food than planned. I ate alot of bad food and drink alot of bad beer. LOL Tuesday (yesterday) I remained cheating. Okay today I am starting all over again.
My son has had a bad rash and diarrhea (which isn't making the rash any better) So I have been going crazy trying to care for him. That means staying up almost all night and day with alot of time alone with stress. Not an excuse but It played a part in everything, including the cookout.
But that's okay I'm starting again today and hopefully I will stay on track this time.
Breakfast:
Special K Cereal with fat-free milk and a Kiwi

Cheated on Sunday, Yep I'm already failing at this. Just like all the other times. :( Oh well I'm pretty sure I will fail again today, my brother-n-law and his girlfriend are coming over and my husband had the bright idea to have a cookout.....A COOKOUT!! lol I love cookouts and the food that comes with it. Okay so my plan is to only eat breakfast and nothing after that until the cookout, only water and green tea, If I get desperate I'll have a rice cake, which is only about 70 or 80 calories.
We plan on having beer brats, steak, sweet potatoes, and ofcourse beer. Hopefully I won't do too bad tonight.
I did go to the gym yesterday and burned off about 200 calories, not much. But I did feel good about it until I got back home and saw my son's little football ice cream cake. lol He doesn't care for it too much so It just sits in the fridge all by it's lonesome, until (big) momma comes along. lmao
Okay I really shouldn't joke about that, I really need to get a grip on my self-control or lack of it.
I did lose 1 more pound yesterday, It's probaly back by now so I can't be too happy about that 1 pound loss.

2nd day, It's going good so far.
I went shopping this morning and stacked up on tons of Lean Cuisine meals, and more fruits and vegetables.
I really need to drink more water...I'm trying. I am so not used to drinking so much water in a day. I would usually drink 1 glass (if that) in a day.
I keep forgetting to buy a scale. Hopefully I will remember to go and buy one tomorrow.
I have figured out what I want to do for my Birthday. I am going to first buy myself a new outfit, then maybe go out to eat (with my diet in mind ofcourse) then maybe if I can get a babysitter, me and my husband will go to the movies alone, without kids for once in our life. I think it will be alot of fun with my new body, ofcourse 13pounds isn't alot but I'm sure I will be more confident and alot more motivated.

Lean Cuisine cheese lasagna with chicken breast scaloppini
Snack:
Brown rice cake
Dinner:
Chicken salad with fat free Italian dressing

Before Picture:

Well today is the day that I will finally be serious about losing weight. After getting married at the age of 18 I really started to put on weight, maybe 15-20 pounds a year, then I got pregnant with my son and gained 40 pounds! I have tried many times, different programs, etc. I am looking to lose 13 (or more) pounds by my 21st Birthday. April 17th. I would have to lose 2.46 lbs. per week for 37 days. I'm starting with 13 pounds to make it easier on myself and to keep me motivated and on track. I will try to stay below 1,000 calories a day. Let's see if I can do it! (I have already lost 3 pounds, but just haden't made my journal yet.)
breakfast:
Oatmeal and half of a banana
Lunch:
Lean Cuisine Salmon with Basil
Dinner:
1 Baked Porkchop with 1 cup squash and zucchini
Snack:
1 Banana
